As a Marketing manager your role is to design, develop and implement marketing programs and pricing strategies to support the organization’s products and/or services (herein referred to as products). Develop overall marketing and branding strategies, promotional programs, and related activities for assigned products and functional areas ensuring that new and existing products meet organizational goals and expectations.
As a member of the Global Strategic Marketing Ruminant Team in the Livestock Innovation Department, this position will manage a Ruminant strategic platform aligned with the Livestock Innovation strategic pillars and sustainable livestock farming principles.
Your duties will include:
- Platform strategy: develop the marketing strategy for the Ruminant strategic platform including short-term (12 months), mid-term (3 years), and long-term (5 years) objectives and goals. Work with BU Marketing Leads to integrate platform strategy into the BU marketing strategies.
- Portfolio management: lead the integration of products and services from BUs/OpCos and Feed Additives along with new products to realize the Ruminant platform strategy. Manage product lifecycle within the Ruminant strategic platform portfolio. Develop and update marketing plans for newly launched products and existing products within the platform. Identify gaps in the portfolio and develop solutions to fill them.
- New product development: define customer/farmer unmet needs based on market intelligence, research, and trends. Identify product development opportunities. Work with internal and external partners to develop product ideas and define commercial opportunities. Lead the Innovation Project teams developing new products that fit within the Ruminant strategic platforms.

What we ask
For this position, we are looking for someone who can make identify market opportunities and translate it to actions in a speed and effective way. You also have a good knowledge of costs versus budget and a quality of marketing communication. Furthermore, you can cope well with change, you are assertive, and you dare to think outside the box. You have a can-do attitude and are very strong in keeping overview. Finally, you love working in an international environment.
What you bring
- Bachelor of Master degree in Marketing management, Science, Health Science or Business;
- Minimum 5+ years brand/product management experience with a proven track record of developing and executing marketing plans in the ruminant animal health/nutrition industry;
- International experience with global brands as an advantage;
- Management experience in a complex, global organization;
- Excellent communication skills and team working abilities with a proactive and collaborative approach.
- Creativeness, strategic orientation and good analytical and operational skills.
- Language: Business English to a high level, other languages as Spanish is an advantage;
- Travel would be approximately 25% internationally.
