As a Regulatory Specialist, you will execute the Nutreco’s policies, objectives, strategy and roadmap for Regulatory & Government Relations, with the aim to establish and maintain a worldwide portfolio of products that is safe and compliant with relevant law.
What are your key accountabilities?
• Executing the Nutreco’s Regulatory & Government Relations policies, objectives, strategy and roadmap, in line with business demand, to give structure to and set guidelines for regulatory management.
• Monitoring, verifying and reporting on the regulatory compliance status and supporting the coordination of the follow up actions in case of regulatory non-compliance in the business.
• Contributing to the process and the quality of the process of authorization and/or registration of new and existing global brands for export requiring governmental pre-market approval.
• Executes the actions to obtain registrations according to the priorities of the business.
• Preparing and/or executing the regulatory training & education programme for all Nutreco colleagues.
• Contributes to the optimization of all processes of relevance for Group Regulatory
• Guiding functionally contacts and stakeholders within the relevant departments.

What we ask
You possess the ability to lead and manage projects on your own, as well as guide teams. Additionally, you have a strong grasp of both internal and external regulatory procedures and have the capability to guide the process, including developing strategies. You possess both a proven track record of working in international settings and cultural awareness.
What you bring
• MSc in life sciences such as veterinary medicine, animal production or law degree combined with adequate technical knowledge.
• Knowledge of feed, food, environmental and veterinary legislation
• Capabilities of integrating regulatory, IP, R&D, operation, quality and marketing
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Fluent English, both verbal and written
