Senior QA officer Nutreco Procurement Micro Ingredient

Job Description:

• Assess, review and maintain relevant data of item- supplier- manufacturer- opco combinations for Nutreco Procurement B.V including relevant documentations.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding changes in requirements like labelling to secure products compliancy.
• Support QA manager Nutreco Procurement Micro Ingredients to plan and follow up on activities required according GMP+ Int/NVWA
• Mange the fit for purpose QC controls for incoming goods of Nutreco Procurement B.V. in corporation with Customer Service and relevant 3rd party warehouses. Ensure that the ingredients are correctly managed by these warehouses according to agreed SLA, includes visits and audits to the warehouses.
• Maintain and continuously improve the ingredients monitoring program for Nutreco Procurement B.V.
• Support Customer Service and other stakeholders in follow up of quality related complaints of Nutreco Procurement B.V.
• Facilitate daily quality issues/requirements for Nutreco Procurement B.V.
• Supplier auditor
• As member of the Nutreco Procurement Micro ingredients team support the overall effectiveness of the team and the continuous improvement of applicable tools and processes. Can be member of expert teams.

Qualifications & Experience

• Fluent in Dutch and English language
• Good communication skills internal and external
• Collaborative with other functions
• Be able to assess physical, chemical and microbiological results and parameters
• Experience in working in a food/feed related industry preferable working experience in the area of sourcing & procurement or supply chain
• Knowledge of the requirements of relevant QA Systems / Legal applications
• Must be able to work in key systems: M3, 1-QM (DMS, ISAM, NC, CAPA) Alert, GLT, LIMS.

Key Accountabilities

• Compliance: Micro Ingredients sourced by Nutreco Procurement are assessed according legal and Nutreco requirements and maintained in the system.
• Certification: Nutreco Procurement Micro Ingredients Certification Shames are maintained, and improvement actions followed up accordingly.
• Customer satisfaction:  non-conformities/complaints trended and followed up timely.
• Procurement Satisfaction: Effective support to guarantee availability of micro ingredients in a volatile environment.
• Quality Excellence: Processes, tools and systems are continuously improved to assure compliance and satisfaction sustainably.

Key Performance Indicators

• Nutreco Procurement Micro Ingredients Supplier combinations and relevant operational documents in place and reviewed with agreed timeframe
• Nutreco Procurement Micro Ingredients monitoring data in place and maintained, end year evaluation report based on trends analysis
• Regular performance updates e.g., on complaints and yearly management review
• Good results during internal/external audits of Nutreco Procurement; No critical or major Nonconformities and timely follow up of observations.
