We are currently expanding our Digital Innovation team – the successful candidate will join an enthusiastic group of people from different backgrounds who are dedicated to realising the enormous potential of our low code app development platform. The platform enables so called citizen developers and even complete beginners to create user-friendly, reliable applications at an incredible pace (development times of just one day are not unusual). With its help, employees throughout our organisation can digitalise or otherwise improve many processes, enhance software solutions, and realise new ideas faster than ever before. As our new team member, you will be at the forefront of leveraging this technology – by developing applications yourself and by making its advantages accessible to interested colleagues all over the world.
Beginning with smaller apps – e.g., translating an Excel file into a more programmable and user-friendly checklist-app by yourself – you will learn to develop solutions to more complex problems in collaboration with your colleagues and even as part of large-scale Innovation projects.
The Junior Digital Innovation Officer could certainly profit from a background in IT, but the ability to learn and adapt quickly are more important to us. The successful candidate will receive extensive coaching from a senior colleague, aimed to improve technical skills as well as the capability to connect with different parts of the organisation and to translate their needs into tangible solutions.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Translating the needs of various teams and business units into concrete requirements
- Developing new applications using our low code app development platform – both in teams and by yourself
- Helping new teams adopt the low code app development model and assisting them in learning to create their own solutions
- Providing support for existing business applications
- Contribute to larger IT projects

What we ask
We are looking for tech/IT enthusiast who is ambitious and eager to learn. The role requires someone with excellent communication skills, who can successfully bridge the gap between app development and various other business functions. A successful candidate will be a strong problem solver and creative thinker with the drive necessary to realise low code app development’s potential within the organisation. What you bring
- Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in Computer Science, Innovation Management, or a related field
- Experience in software or app development is welcome but not required
- An understanding of how software can create value for the business and the ability to build relationships between business and IT
- Project Management, agile/scrum know-how is an advantage
- Languages: fluent in English, other languages are an advantage
