As Senior Financial Administrator, you are part of our Financial Shared Service Center (FSSC), which is located in Boxmeer and consists of four subdivisions (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Accounting, Treasury & Projects). The successful candidate will join the Accounts Payable team, which currently includes 9 people, and report directly to the Manager Accounts Payable.
The FSSC is the supplier of financial and administrative services to several entities of Nutreco, including Trouw Nutrition (Cluster ECAM). This means that we have a very international way of working with English as the primary language. Dutch skills are an advantage, but not a requirement for this role.
As Senior Financial Administrator, you will deal with a variety of topics, many of them are listed below.
What are your key accountabilities?
Accounts Payable
- Processes incoming vendor invoices, in accordance with internal procedures, to realize a proper accounting of the debt position. Monitors and codes
- incoming invoices and journal entries of invoices. Collects and files all relevant documents related to invoices.
- Ensures timely preparation of payment proposals in accordance with internal procedures, taking appropriate action to make payments, resolve discrepancies,
- etc.
Service
- Provides a high standard of assistance and customer service to both internal and external customers.
- May be assigned with other duties and projects as appropriate in the area of finance and administration

What we ask
To succeed in this position, you need to have an eye for details and a very analytical approach. Besides bringing some knowledge in Finance, you also need to be eager to learn and constantly expand your know-how. Finally, we work with many digital and automated processes, so an affinity for this way of working is a must.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or similar
- 5+ years of relevant working experience, ideally in a corporation with similarly mature processes
- Skills in Power BI, ERP packages, and/or financial reporting packages (e.g., Infor M3/Medius APA) would be an advantage
- Excellent English communication skills (oral and written), knowledge of other languages is considered an advantage
