Business and Operations Coordinator

• Conduct regular cycle counts of finished goods, packaging and other consumable materials and investigate any variances from ERP system inventory levels

• Verify inventory levels of finished product and establish an optimal balance between customer and stock orders

• Identify and provide suggestions on improvements to inventory control processes and work with operations staff to execute on better inventory and warehouse management systems

• Identify potential bottlenecks in current processes and raises them to supervisor for investigation

• Communicating guidelines and instructions, and creating templates to facilitate the planning and reporting processes

• Review financial documents based on inventory and actuals to review and plan for future production

• Preparing management information, such as monthly reports and presentations on various topics

FinanceSupport – 50%

• Provides assistance to functional counterparts in the OpCo / Division as required on matter involving cost determination issues, valuation, distribution of overhead, treatment of costs and product pricing

• Prepares and merges internal and external analysis based on needs and direction of management

• May conduct special studies and analysis such as cost impact of proposed changes in facilities, systems and processes

• Assisting in the preparation and analysis of annual and half year figures

Must Have

• Excellent problem-solving and high attention to details

• Basic to intermediate excel skills

• Analytical skills & ability to read financial statements (P/L)

• Work independently

• Passion and integrity in work

Nice Have

• Have training and forklift driving experience (this will assist in inventory counting)

• Financial or accounting background is an asset

• Relevant technological knowledge (ERP) is an asset

• Proactive and comfortable bringing new ideas
