IT Coordinator

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and implement technical projects both locally and nationally;
• Analyze, plan and coordinate the development and execution of system implementation plans and solutions;
• Maintain front line application support for the region’s IT business systems and applications such as production systems and more common applications and systems related to the ERP, MES;
• Procure technology and infrastructure within Manufacturing facilities
• Ensure a constant communication with all service providers as well as with all levels of the IT organization;
• Asset Procurement and Management;
• Management and support of Integration Platforms between critical business systems;
• Complete systems modifications, systems tests/audits on new and modified applications and assess system performance to ensure quality level as well as post implementation reviews;
• Analyze and manage global and national software deployment;
• Analyze, resolves and trouble shoots systems issues related to local area networks, data communications, and systems security;
• Provide local and remote-user issue support;
• Manage the change request system, new users, and termination forms;
• Execute on other tasks as determined by the Senior IT Manager, East region.

PREFERRED HIRING CRITERIA:

• Technical diploma (College) in Business or Computer Science or equivalent disciplines;
• Minimum Five (5) years of computer systems experience;
• Experience in IT infrastructure and application support;
• Experience Managing Technical Projects;
• Working knowledge of common workplace software including LANDesk, Windows Server, SQL Server, VMware, Windows 10, Microsoft Office (365)
• Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset
• Experience supporting Business Critical Systems (ERP, MES, LIMS, CRM) an asset
• Experience in Integration Software (BizTalk) an asset
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment or the corporate office of a manufacturing organization is an asset
