URGENT HIRING - MACHINE OPERATOR, Ste-Anne, MB

A Skilled Operator reports to the Plant Manager. Operates equipment and machinery that requires a certain level of proficiency acquired through training on the job and specialized training.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Complete all paperwork required for assigned tasks ensuring proper documentation for Food Safety and follow quality standards
• Ability to follow strict manufacturing practices and safety policies
• Load bulk trucks: Unload and receive the ingredients; Accurately and efficiently ship products ordered by customers
• Perform the tasks related to the preventive and sanitary maintenance of the plant and ensure that the quality control requirements of the ingredients are met at all times
• Operate the production line
• Endeavors to be productive at all times; Other duties as required.

PREFERRED HIRING CRITERIA

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Ability to communicate and write in English
• Roughly 2 to 4 years’ experience in a similar role
• Training on the job plus specialized (formal) training
• Knowledge in manufacturing/farming

GOOD TO KNOW

• Ability to regularly bend and twist and lift 50 pounds
• Full Time; Permanent
• This is a shift work position of night, evening and days to cover a 24 hour day – 5 days per week with over-time as needed.
