As Quality Systems Manager you will drive the transformation to a fit-for-purpose quality management system that ensures compliance with customer, certification, business and legal requirements in an effective and agile way. In this position, you will be part of Nutreco Iberia Quality Management team. You will collaborate closely with other stakeholders in Iberia and Nutreco, being the point of contact for the Nutreco Global Quality Team regarding the Quality management system in Iberia.


About The Role 
Responsibilities:
 
•    Contribute to the development, continuous improvement of Quality and Feed Safety Management Nutreco (Nutrace) through participation in networks, co- development and review of standards and processes and acceptance testing of Quality related IT systems.
•    Develop and maintain the quality and feed safety system for the BU, using Nutrace as backbone and also including feed fraud and food defence. Lead the deployment of in own Business Unit including gap assessment, prioritisation in implementation.
•    Provide training and support during implementation of the quality and feed safety system and perform reviews and audits to assess compliance and improvement opportunities.
•    Support Quality Operations Manager to establish quality process controls with tolerances and limits to machinery and products that ensure feed safety and quality compliance and continuous improvement.
•    Process owner of the customer complaints process and supporting the business unit in consistent and standardized way of working to ensure reliable complaint reports and follow up.
•    Develop and implement a dashboard that illustrates compliance status with Nutrace. Perform regular reviews with relevant stakeholders, and support closure of gaps.


Skills and Expertise  
 Qualifications:  

•    Bachelor’s degree in food science, biology, chemistry, or related.
•    Proven quality experience of at least 5 years in a quality role with knowledge of feed safety law.
•    Good level of both Spanish and English in word and writing. Portuguese language is an advantage.
•    Flexible and willing to travel in Spain and Portugal. 
•    Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate others.
