As a Quality Operations Manager you will be contributing to continuous improvement and quality compliance in manufacturing. As part of this you are responsible for establishing quality process controls with tolerances and limits to machinery and products. You will furthermore work closely together with other functions and the quality managers in the factories in implementation of the quality standards and procedures and improving processing performance and first time right production. 

About The Role 
Responsibilities:  

•    Support implementation of the quality management system in the factories creating effectiveness and efficiency through standardisation and best practice sharing.
•    Establish quality process controls with tolerances and limits to machinery and products that ensure compliance and continuous improvement. Work with factory teams to embed these limits and tolerances in the production processes.
•    Participate in improvement projects in operations to improve processing performance
•    Identify, define, and monitor the most relevant KPIs and indicators of quality performance in the factories, such as non-conforming tons, first time right, etc.
•    Participate in the analysis and evaluation of quality objectives to establish corrective measures for undesired deviations and to identify trends and areas for improvement.
•   Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions. 

Skills and Expertise  
 Qualifications:  

•    Bachelor’s degree in food science, biology, chemistry, or related.
•    Proven quality experience of at least 5 years in a quality role with knowledge of feed safety law.
•    Good level of both Spanish and English in word and writing. Portuguese is an advantage.
•    Flexible and willing to travel in Spain and Portugal. 
•    Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate others.
