We are seeking a Swine Sales Manager for our Selko brand-Indianapolis, IN.

The Swine Sales Manager is a primary customer-facing role and is responsible for keeping all targeted customers well informed regarding Selko, the IntelliBond brand, and each product within our portfolio.  Additionally, team selling is critical to Selko’s sales strategy.  As such, this position is responsible for identifying logical connection points between Selko and customers and facilitating the building of key relationships such that our customers know Selko through multiple points of contact. Ultimately, these efforts are designed to lead to sales success as defined by consistently accomplishing our yearly business plan.

Additional responsibilities of the Swine Sales Manager include collaboration with marketing and technical teams.  This position will provide input to the technical team as it designs and executes the swine research strategy.  Upon completion of trials, this position will work collaboratively with marketing to develop impactful customer-facing material that accurately communicates the performance of Selko’s products.

About The Role: Driving Sales Excellence

Responsibilities:

  • Implement our sales strategy to grow our Swine portfolio

  • Develop and manage business-to business contacts between Selko and each strategic account

  • Support the geographical regions residing in your sales territory

  • Coordinate Technical support for swine customers

  • Deliver weekly, monthly and quarterly sales reports

  • Promote Selko’s brand through active participation in key industry conferences

Skills and Expertise

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Business Administration, Agriculture or a similar field

  • 5+ years’ of sales and account management experience in a business-to-business environment

  • Relevant swine sales experience and industry knowledge

  • Demonstrated the ability to sell - grow their book of business

  • Team player with strong negotiation, presentation, contractual and legal skills

  • Experienced user with CRM-MS Dynamics 365 and MS Office Suite

GOOD TO KNOW:

  • A valid drivers’ license is required for this role.

  • Must be willing to travel domestically up to 50% to customers and attend sales events

  • Fluency in English is an advantage
