While our R&D colleagues are developing new nutritional solutions, we're transforming how our colleagues and customers optimize their animals‘ wellbeing and performance through digital magic. 

Our GSS team is all about pushing boundaries. We've created a powerful portfolio of digital services that enables farmers to review data around their animal health – all with a few clicks. From dairy cows to poultry, we're helping agriculture unlock its full potential – one intelligent feed solution at a time. 

Digital Applications 

Our tech wizards turn raw farm data into powerful business intelligence. We're building digital farm replicas and develop predictive models that allow farmers to select the right animal feed to help their livestock maximize performance, improve sustainability, and optimize economic outcomes. 

Commercial Development  

The bridge between technological innovation and real-world animal nutrition. We implement solutions that help sales representatives provide farmers with precise, data-driven feed recommendations, maintaining and upgrading digital tools that transform how we approach animal nutrition. 

Formulation & Nutrition 

Developing global nutritional systems that leverage cutting-edge science. We create sophisticated ingredient matrices for ruminants, poultry, and swine, maintain advanced nutritional databases, and implement smart algorithms that precisely calculate the most effective feed combinations to maximize animal health and productivity.  

Here is where we've noticed a challenge: our complex nutritional knowledge can be overwhelming for both internal teams and external clients. This internship aims to demystify complex animal nutrition terminologies by developing standardized e-learning materials. You will be given an introduction to our services and their target audiences. After creating your own value proposition and receiving business approval, you'll develop written, video, and visual content.  

Internship Responsibilities:  

• Understand the services and solutions the GSS department provides and map out your target audiences. 

• You will work closely with our GSS department, the broader innovation department, Species teams, and HR to create engaging content that makes our intricate scientific knowledge about animal feed accessible and exciting. 

• Implement your own action plan within the wider Nutreco internal HR system, which will be used as company-wide learning.   

• Explore innovative methods to make the learning [system] engaging and beneficial 

Qualifications and Skills:  

• You are currently pursuing an education in communication, L&D, marketing or a similar relevant discipline at a Dutch university. To be eligible for an internship, you must remain enrolled for the duration of the internship.  

• You are enthusiastic about creating learning content across different functions.  

• You have theoretical know-how on how to create learning content via different delivery methods (e.g. video, PPT, text).   

• You are fluent in English.

• An internship allowance of 400 to 450 Euro per month.
