Apprentice Laboratory Administrator
Job Description
Trouw Nutrition’s Laboratory is one of the leaders in forage analysis for the UK.
The successful applicant will be dealing with silage and animal feed samples on a daily basis. During the peak forage season the department is very busy.
This is a highly hands-on position that goes beyond the scope of a typical administrative role.
Key responsibilities
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Accurate registration and labelling of all customer samples.
- Input of analytical results.
- Dealing with customer queries by telephone and email.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and ensure all procedures are followed correctly.
To succeed in this role you must be a team player with good attention to detail and be customer focused.
A good working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel and Outlook) is required.
Full training will be given in all aspects of the job as you progress through the apprenticeship. The apprenticeship training will involve both on the job and off the job training through college.
