Role Overview
This position will support regional and Opco strategy development, lead multi-country strategic initiatives, and contribute to the execution of country-specific projects. The Senior Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, Operations, Technical) and local Opcos to ensure Nutreco's strategies in Asia are effectively developed and implemented.
Key Responsibilitiess
- Lead the development and implementation of regional and species strategies, covering projects from organic business development to capital expenditure cases and M&A.
- Manage cross-functional project teams-including global and regional stakeholders to deliver on strategic priorities.
- Oversee portfolio and lifecycle strategies for select species' products and services.
- Monitor progress on key initiatives, track milestones, and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
- Drive commercial excellence initiatives across Opcos, including Key Account Management, segmentation, pricing, and related capabilities.
- Deliver insights on market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer needs to inform go-to-market strategies.
- Collaborate with R&D, Product Management, and Sales to translate scientific developments into commercial solutions.
- Identify, assess, and recommend partnership opportunities to leadership.
- Support the Director of Strategy & BD in evaluating equity transactions and joint venture opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Veterinary Science, Agriculture, Anima! Science, or a related field preferred
- 10+ years experience in Strategy, PMO, or Business Development roles within the animal nutrition industry or adjacent sectors preferred
- Experience leading Commercial Excellence initiatives or implementing digital tools and capabilities would be highly valued.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams without formal authority and manage complex stakeholder relationships
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with high proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
- Comfortable working in a matrixed organization with both regional and global stakeholders
