About the job
As S&OP Lead, you play a key role in synchronizing the sales and operations activities of our Global Supply Points in EU. The role aims to enhance efficiency, minimize costs, and maximize satisfaction of our customers. You are responsible for leading the development and execution of our S&OP process, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to align sales forecasts, production plans, inventory levels, and customer demand.

As part of the monthly S&OP drumbeat, you create a Supply Network Plan for our two main Global products Feed Additives and YAF, based on a 1-15 months’ time horizon. A key element in this is to provide scenarios to determine the best option to maintain supply, balancing total Supply Chain cost and Customer Service.

Other activities you are responsible for are:

  • Managing the monthly S&OP drumbeat, by preparing and facilitating the monthly supply review and executive meeting

  • Monitoring progress against the plan through frequent contact with different stakeholders (internal and external) such as: Production & Material Planning, the Supply Points / Plant teams, Customer Services, and other Supply Network Planners.

  • Maintaining Supply Network planning master data, systems, and software. Also maintaining relevant data and monitors/analyses trends to further enhance the forecast.

  • Proposing improvements to the planning process and putting it into practice.

  • Leading and/or participating in various projects with the aim of improving our End-2-End Supply Chain reliability and planning processes. And collaborate with key customer planning teams to develop collaborative and integrated planning.
     

What we ask
To be successful in this role you have excellent communication skills. You know how to convince and persuade, and always maintain a constructive, trusted relation with your stakeholders. You lead with influence and are known for building bridges between stakeholders. Also, you see where the business can improve and share best practices globally to achieve that. Next to that you have:
 

  • At least a bachelor's degree, preferably a master’s degree.

  • A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience within a bigger supply chain organization.

  • Fluent in English, preferably also Dutch.

For this role you already need a residence in the Netherlands, we cannot arrange relocation.
