Truck Driver

Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver bulk feed within Ontario on multi-drop routes.
  • Work 50-60 hours per week.
  • Rotating schedule to ensure alternate Saturday availability.
  • Perform vehicle care and maintenance as needed.
  • Complete daily pre-trip and weekly truck/trailer inspections.
  • Maintain accurate logbooks.
  • Complete all paperwork in line with business requirements.

PREFERRED HIRING CRITERIA:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent education.
  • Minimum of 1 year truck driving experience.
  • AZ license required.
  • Clean driver's abstract.
  • Capable of heavy physical effort, including lifting up to 25 kg bags of feed.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong team and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to customer service.
  • Must be able to drive Manual/Standard transmission.
  • Experience in feed or agriculture is an asset
