BU MEA Head of Strategic Marketing

About The Role:
- Responsibilities:
- Develops and regularly updates a prioritized list of countries, species, and customer segments based on market potential, competition and strategic fit.
- Creates frameworks and criteria for assessing and revisiting the “where to play” strategy based on evolving market data.
- Ensures value capturing by spearheading Commercial Excellence for the BU, determining the right Route to Market together with opcos and developing pricing strategies to guide opcos.
- Leads the BU marketing team, mentoring and guiding the portfolio managers, providing direction on strategic priorities.
Skills and Expertise
- Qualifications:
- Minimum Degree level qualification in relevant discipline
- Strong strategic marketing experience, ideally gained within related Industry and in multi-country/emerging markets.
- Strategic thinker, able to focus on commercial realization of concepts/ideas
- Strong leadership skills with focus on driving growth, get close to the market and customer, building network relationships, decision making, inspire and influence, formulate vision and strategy and translating strategy into plans
- Project management skills, ensuring execution of short term plans
- Culturally sensitive
- Results and quality driven
Expectation from Role:
- Integrates both Skretting and Trouw Nutrition species perspectives into a unified MEA strategy, ensuring alignment with Global species strategies and balancing Global priorities with local needs.
- Create a MEA identify that inspires both colleagues and customers.
- Actively foster collaboration between opcos (general manager/sales/marketing), the portfolio managers and Global marketing.
