We’re on the hunt for a passionate and innovative Business Application Specialist (BAS) to join our NCC Quality Team!

The Nutreco Competence Center (NCC) is the hub of excellence within Nutreco’s IT organization, driving processes and managing global business applications. Organised into specialised streams, each team takes ownership of key functionalities within M3 (ERP) and coordinates between business, global IT and vendors. Beyond support and continuous improvement, the NCC team ensures system integrity and leads global and local projects. The NCC Quality stream oversees two main applications: Labvantage LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) and ETQ Reliance QMS (known internally as 1QM). As a BAS in this team, you’ll play a vital role in enhancing and maintaining the 1QM tool, empowering our global quality strategies. You’ll act as a trusted link between business stakeholders, IT, and developers, translating business needs into impactful technical solutions.

About The Role: Innovating and Supporting Business Applications Globally

Responsibilities:

• Support, configure, and troubleshoot the 1QM QMS application to meet business needs.

• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to align the application with global quality strategies.

• Coordinate and deliver projects, including workshops, planning, and implementation.

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.

• Provide training, user support, and maintain system documentation.

• Facilitate standardization of global quality processes through the application.

• Work with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure timely project delivery, meeting stakeholder requirements.

• Be able to understand stakeholder needs and requirements.

• Demonstrate the ability to apply project management methodologies and contribute to project teams
   

Skills and Expertise

• Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 1-2 years with previous experience in IT, customer service, or as a Business Application Specialist

  • A solid understanding of IT systems, databases, and application management. Experience with Power BI for dashboard creation is a plus.

  • Experience and knowledge of ERP (M3) systems is considered an advantage.

  • Fluency in English and effectively communicating and networking with business and stakeholders.

  • Soft skills like good communication, proactive, collaborative, adaptable, with a strong focus on problem-solving and analytical thinking.
