Trouw Nutrition is excited to announce a Fully Remote opportunity for you to join our dynamic North American team as a Costing Analyst! About The Role: Analyze numbers to drive an impactful costing result
Responsibilities:
Skills and Expertise
- Maintain the costing module in the ERP system for all animal feed plants in the North America Business Unit
- Work with a multi-departmental team to update costs weekly and for new or revised individual items daily
- On a monthly basis, prepare and distribute monthly variance reports for purchase price, spending, volume, usage, etc., monthly manufacturing cost summaries, monthly efficiency variance analysis
- Respond to departmental costing queries and correct or direct to the appropriate party
- Able to identify patterns and problem-solving is a must
Qualifications:
- Minimal college or equivalent in business, finance, accounting and supply chain
- Experience in agriculture or food industry is an asset
- Experience in a standard costing environment is preferred
- Proficiency with MS Excel and experience in an ERP environment is a must
- Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
- French-speaking and power BI skills are a plus but not required
Expectation from the Role:
- Participate and/or lead costing calls
- Ability to work in a team environment but also able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated organizational skills, including ability to prioritize duties and meet deadlines
