We are seeking a Global Project Lead for Payroll Strategy & CSRD, for a minimum of 12 months, with the possibility of extension up to 24 months, to drive efforts in harmonizing sustainability reporting and payroll management across our global operations. This strategic role is integral to our commitment to the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), which aims to improve transparency and standardize sustainability efforts within organizations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing HR data and payroll systems on a global scale, with a proven track record of simplifying complex processes and ensuring stringent compliance with regulatory frameworks. Your role will involve crafting and executing a detailed, phased plan that optimizes HR data integration, enhances payroll accuracy, and promotes operational continuity. This position reports to the Head of Rewards (in the global rewards CoE) with a dotted line to the Director Global Operations in HR.
You will also,
- Spearhead the collection, analysis, and interpretation of global payroll data, ensuring consistency in definitions and accurate mapping of various pay elements to maintain data integrity.
- Oversee the establishment of a centralized payroll management system to coordinate and streamline global payroll operations effectively.
- Design and implement a comprehensive payroll strategy that simplifies processes, enhances efficiency, and incorporates harmonization techniques across the organization.
- Develop and execute a detailed regional implementation strategy that aligns with a global transformation roadmap, in close collaboration with the Head of Rewards and the Director of Global HR Operations.
- Engage with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful deployment of the payroll strategy, assessing change readiness and facilitating smooth transitions at both global and local levels.
- Ensure all payroll strategies adhere to regulatory requirements and contribute to the organization’s sustainability goals under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive.
- Provide leadership in the payroll domain, delivering regular updates and detailed reports to senior management to ensure transparency and informed decision-making.
About You:
- Possess a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in HR, payroll management, or sustainability are preferred.
- Extensive experience in managing payroll on a global scale, demonstrating a deep understanding of various international payroll regulations and practices.
- Familiarity with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and a strong understanding of sustainability reporting practices are crucial.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to process and interpret complex payroll data. Proficient in using HRIS, payroll software, and data analysis tools.
- Proven track record in developing and executing global implementation plans and deliver results within tight deadlines.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in English, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in assessing change readiness and successfully implementing transition plans, demonstrating a strategic approach to organizational change.
