Global Product Marketing Director

Job Description

  • Strategic Development: Formulate product-specific marketing strategies in line with the species strategy using market analysis, competitive insights, and consumer trends to align with organizational goals.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Lead and develop a high-performing product managers team while fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Collaborate across functions including product development, sales, and finance to ensure cohesive strategy execution.
  • Financial Oversight:  Reach sales profit goals with a strategic focus on optimizing resource allocation and achieving financial targets. Ensure initiatives are cost-effective while upholding brand integrity.
  • Growth Identification: Identify and exploit growth opportunities within product categories using market segmentation, lifecycle management techniques, and strategic partnerships.
  • Market Adaptation: Leverage market research to respond to emerging trends and customer needs, aligning these insights with product development plans.
  • Profitability Strategies: Drive revenue growth and profitability by implementing effective pricing, positioning, and market entry strategies. Continuously refine these strategies based on product performance and market feedback.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Work with the Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance teams to ensure all products comply with relevant regulations and that documentation is current.
  • Operational Coordination: Collaborate with Global Operations to manage the operational requirements of global product strategies effectively.
  • Business Development: Oversee business development tasks not directly related to species, including licensing and toll manufacturing initiatives, to support broader company objectives.


Requirements

  • Master’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Animal Science, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within product management.
  • Expertise in strategic planning and market analysis.
  • Proven track record in leading diverse teams and managing complex projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and influencing various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial and budget management.
  • A strong drive for innovation, with a continuous pursuit of learning and improvement in product marketing.

  • Strong capabilities in building and maintaining relationships, with a knack for connecting teams and stakeholders.
  • A visionary outlook, adaptable and receptive to feedback.
