Senior Business Auditor
Job Description
Nutreco is a member of the SHV family, and we are committed to 'Feeding the Future' through sustainable and innovative practices. Nutreco has two business lines: Skretting is a leading global provider of innovative aquafeed solutions, revolutionizing aquaculture for a sustainable future. Trouw Nutrition specializes in animal nutrition and is committed to advancing livestock health and productivity through cutting-edge solutions.
In a world with limited natural resources and a growing population, the demand for food is constantly rising. Sustainably meeting this demand poses many complicated challenges.
As Senior Business Auditor, you can contribute to our purpose of Feeding the Future by working closely with our operating companies all over the globe, appraising processes and making recommendations, thereby playing a key role in our risk management.
If you are a passionate professional with a background in external audit or another related field looking to broaden your horizon in a dynamic, international environment, this is the job for you!
We are looking for a new Senior Business Auditor who will work together with the Internal Audit team to fulfil the mission of GIA within Nutreco.
The Senior Business Auditor will be responsible for the ongoing review and improvement of various processes throughout our global organization. This includes topics within finance, but also operations, quality, HR, and more.
We conduct all our internal audits with the clear goal of continuously improving processes and minimizing risk – this means that, instead of policing our colleagues, we take an advisory role that is dependent on our ability to connect with stakeholders throughout the business and establish collaborative relationships with them.
If you are able to initiate, facilitate and complete the audit plan and stay up to date on discussions with relevant stakeholders (amongst others being management of operating companies, controllers on business unit and operating company level, shared service centers and corporate departments), we are looking for you!
About The Role
Responsibilities
Plan and execute independent appraisals of operational, financial, and other related processes and make recommendations on how operations may be improved, maintained at a high level or risks more effectively managed.
Assist in performing fraud or one-off investigations, obtaining, and analyzing evidence and making recommendations to senior management.
Establish and maintain an audit recommendations database and follow up on the completion of agreed improvements.
Draft concise, high impact reports based on factual data gathered as part of internal audit assignments.
Use Data analytics and Process mining to provide insight to management and translate into tangible improvement opportunities.
Assist the Group Internal Audit Manager in preparation of the annual audit plan.
Promote and develop good working relationships with all departments within the business, acting as an ambassador in all matters pertaining to risk management and internal control.
A key role in an international, dynamic, and fast paced environment that provides great exposure to senior stakeholders as well as a good work-life balance. You will get to know our organisation inside and out and have the ideal springboard to launch yourself into other exciting roles within Nutreco and SHV in the future. Former team members have transitioned into positions like Country Finance Manager, Internal Control Manager and even CIO.
