The Director Operations is accountable to deliver a Strategic Operations plan, enable Operational Excellence and manage the Global Operations of BU Feed Additives in an efficient way in line with all rules and regulations.

Selko Feed Additives is a Business Unit within the Nutreco Animal Nutrition Division and serves clients around the world with innovative feed additive solutions. 
Selko uses technologies such as organic acids blends, toxin binders and organic trace minerals to deliver food safety (preservation), animal health and efficient customer solutions. 
This Director Operations manages the Global Operations of the Business Unit Feed Additives (global production and global supply chains of all Selko products): 
- He defines strategies and business plans to organise the global Production & Supply Chains from suppliers to customers in the most effective and efficient way, to enable operational excellence.  
- Ensures efficient production output while constantly paying attention to people, product quality, overall safety, equipment, maintenance, environment, hygiene and compliance to all relevant rules and legislations.  
- Ensures delivery reliability at lowest possible costs of feed additives for the animal feed industry.  
- This position manages globally the people and processes of all Feed Additives Operations, production, maintenance, customer service, raw material call off, production planning, subcontracted production, warehousing and logistics.  
- Furthermore the Director Operations is responsible for the strategic partnership and the decisions on outsourcing production in operations in order to maintain best practices in the operations plants worldwide.  
- Also the decisions of choosing optimal locations (plants) for the feed additives production strategy is key in this position.
