About Trouw Nutrition Global Marketing
The Global Marketing organization consists of species- and product-focused marketing teams, employing approximately 60 people globally. We are committed to delivering value to the market through rapid, effective, and sustainable solutions based on world-class research. We are seeking a Business Controller to join our team, supporting the Global Marketing division by providing high-quality assistance across various campaigns and projects, as well as performing value-driven analyses and reports that help guide the global business effectively.
Additionally, our new Business controller will work together with the finance manager in supporting our new Swiss Nutreco Exploration – Nutex - Organization, which focuses on new innovations in the fields of phytotechnology and microbiome technology.
Some of your key responsibilities will include supporting teams in developing Global Marketing value propositions, acting as a financial guide on projects, managing planning and reporting for the department, and collaborating with other financial and business controllers to further integrate the financial processes of Nutreco’s head office departments.
About The Role:
Responsibilities:
Ensure consistent and reliable reporting of global sales figures for key value propositions.
Collaborate with the financial shared service centre on month-end closures and contribute to short-, medium-, and long-term planning cycles (rolling forecast).
Conduct high-quality business case analysis for Global Marketing projects, including post-launch success evaluations, as well as tracking and reporting expenditures (e.g., personnel and research facilities).
Skills and Expertise
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or business administration.
2-5 years of experience in a similar position.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Power BI, ERP systems, and/or financial reporting tools (e.g. HFM/OneStream).
Experience in an international business setting with a proactive attitude that challenges the status quo.
Excellent verbal and written communication in English; Dutch and any additional languages are a plus.
Expectation from Role:
You will be optimizing the resources we use within Global Marketing by measuring key financial metrics.
By aligning financial processes across Nutreco’s head office departments and providing key information to our leaders, you will effectively support Nutreco in making decisions when it comes to our Marketing department.
You will be the sparring partner to our Global Marketing department, advising and supporting on a wide range of topics.
