Job Description
BAS Global - Application development, maintenance and management
Provide support for applications, implement application (construct and configure), deploy changes and do troubleshooting
Innovate and proactively work to develop and support business applications to ensure it best meets business needs.
Translate business need into technical specification and work with supplier to translate business requirements into a viable software solution
Interacts and engages frequently with business to ensure that the solution meets the agreed business requirements and maintain active contact with business to ensure that the system in place is working appropriately from a functionality perspective
Apply knowledge of systems to determine feasibility of projects
Expand the solution to other business systems/business need.
Configure and guide development of a variety of business applications
Participate or lead process initiatives
Provide guidance, develop and deliver training
Build long-term relationships with business partners and collaborate with geographically distributed teams
Support the Application Engineers in translating the functional design into a technical design
Define and monitor targets for the Application Engineers, Support and coach the Application Engineers
BAS Global - Application development, maintenance and management
Collects business requirements at key users, local owners and business process owners, if applicable in cooperation with Application Engineers for translating the functional design into technical design
Share best practices over Opco’s
Describe and organize setup of applications
BAS Local - Management advice/reports
Reports Service Level Management data/KPIs regarding assigned application(s)
BAS Global - Governance of projects in a functional area
Investigate all requirements in a functional area and translate the requirements into process and/or application projects
Support the Process Information Manager/Manager Enterprise Solution Architecture and/or Process Owner in approving and prioritizing the projects
Function as Local Unite Owner and is BU responsible for changes due to Nutreco Unite Projects and communication to key users involving the assigned process applications in the BU/Opco.
Defines change requests in close operation with Key Users and Functional Owner and communicates/coordinates requests with Competence Center.
Program management /Change management
Define project charters or change documents for all changes and projects
Staff projects and manage / steer project management
Monitor projects on planning, budget and deliverables and report this
Execute the formal closing of projects, incl. evaluation against planning, budget and deliverables
Analyzes changes, defines change plans per change, implement changes and execute the formal closing of changes
Application support
Define and manage SLA’s with suppliers for local applications, organize support structures for global applications in close cooperation with the Global IT Services organization
Organize key-user structure
Perform release and capacity management
