Service Engineer
Job Description
- Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on all equipment.
- Respond to technical service requests in a timely manner.
- Repair or replace faulty equipment and parts.
- Maintain detailed records of all service activities, including repairs, parts used, and time spent.
- Provide support to other departments with technical expertise.
- Manage inventory of spare parts and tools.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize equipment performance.
- Required Qualifications and Skills:
- A degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar service/maintenance role.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge in design and programming for PLC and HMI.
- Familiarity with maintenance software and technical documentation.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience with remote support tools, data logging, or IoT-enabled dosing systems.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance (HACCP&GMP for Feed mill, CCP point).
- Knowledge of feed mill's processing, steam, and heat transfer.
