Sales Execution: Implement the sales plan for the assigned area in line with established objectives, ensuring compliance and achievement of targets.
Customer Acquisition: Proactively approach the market based on market intelligence provided by the OpCo, through direct visits, calls, referrals, etc., within delegated authority (sales team), to retain and expand the customer base.
Customer Management: Build trust with new and existing clients by identifying their needs and offering effective solutions to enhance satisfaction, loyalty, and profitability.
Complement and enhance customer activities in the area of animal health and welfare.
Value-Based Selling: Ask questions that uncover implicit needs and develop them. Demonstrate the company’s capabilities by explaining how its health products and services meet the client’s explicit needs (benefit statements).
Issue Resolution: Receive, follow up, and resolve (or ensure resolution of) customer complaints or inquiries promptly and efficiently, in close collaboration with Sales and Customer Service teams.
Tools: Coordinate, execute, maintain, and/or improve sales administrative processes and systems in accordance with applicable procedures to ensure efficient administration and compliance with policies and regulations.
Management Information: Provide management with information, either upon request or on own initiative, regarding quantitative and qualitative developments in your sales area/expertise, in line with reporting guidelines, ensuring all data is properly stored and updatd
Qualifications and Experience
Academic Background: Higher education degree in Veterenary. A Master in Acuiculture will be especially valued due to its relevance in understanding animal physiology and the health of aquatic species.
Professional Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in animal production, preferably in the aquaculture sector. Experience with other species will also be considered.
Proactivity and Technical Updating: We are looking for a proactive individual with professional curiosity and the ability to stay up to date with technological, scientific, and regulatory developments in the aquaculture sector. Participation in specialized courses, conferences, or publications will be positively valued.
Commercial Skills and Customer Orientation: Ability to build trust-based relationships with clients, understand their technical and commercial needs, and offer tailored solutions. A proactive, empathetic, and results-oriented attitude is required.
Availability to Travel: Willingness to travel frequently to client facilities, both nationally and internationally.
Technical Skills for Field Trials: Experience in designing, executing, and analyzing field trials in productive environments.
Languages: English, to communicate effectively with international clients, write technical documentation, and participate in industry events. Knowledge of French will be an asset.
