What you’ll do 

At Nutreco’s Head Office Finance department, you’ll join a team of eight professionals who work at the heart of our global organization. We partner closely with the budget owners of HQ, Global Marketing, Innovation, and Digital to provide insights, and we ensure smooth month-end closings, deliver accurate reporting, and drive the rolling forecast process.  We collaborate to strengthen and harmonize financial processes, making them more efficient and future-ready. In this role, you will lead the month‑end closing process—including internal controls—working closely with the Financial Shared Service Center, while managing the rolling forecast cycle to deliver accurate and timely outlooks. You ensure consistent, reliable financial reporting that supports effective decision‑making and communicate complex financial information in a clear and actionable way to diverse stakeholders. You actively contribute to process improvement and harmonization across the team, optimizing resources by monitoring and interpreting key financial metrics. By aligning financial processes across Nutreco’s head office functions and providing critical insights to leadership, you play a key role in enabling sound business decisions. As a trusted sparring partner to the Financial Managers of HQ, Global Marketing, Innovation, and Digital, you provide thoughtful advice and support across a broad range of financial topics.
 

Who we’re looking for 

For this position, we are looking for a professional with strong controller or accounting fundamentals, who is ready to own this role. Someone who can make the right connections between the finance operations and the supported functions.

You’ll also need: 

  • ​Bachelor’s degree in finance, accountancy, or business administration. 

  • 3-5 years of experience in a finance role in a complex multinational organisation

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting, familiarity with Power BI, exposure to financial reporting tools and knowledge of ERP systems.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English; Dutch and any additional languages are a plus.
