What You’ll Do

In this role, you will support core financial operations that enable the production of feed in a responsible and efficient way for a growing global population. At Nutreco, you’re encouraged to Own Your Direction, Own Your Development, and Own Your Path while contributing to meaningful work.

Accounts Receivable

  • Prepare and process customer payment reminders in accordance with established procedures to support timely collections

  • Gather and review customer credit and reference information; prepare notices and follow‑up communications as required

  • Monitor collection progress in consultation with the supervisor and recommend appropriate next steps, including escalation to collections or write‑offs, subject to approval

  • Allocate receivables accurately to appropriate AR aging accounts, including assigning correct general ledger (GL) codes for miscellaneous items

  • Allocate daily bank statement debits and credits to ensure timely and accurate cash application

  • Assist the AR/Credit Manager with additional accounts receivable–related tasks and ad hoc duties as required

Accounts Payable

  • Support the Accounts Payable function by processing, coding, and filing vendor invoices and related journal entries in accordance with internal procedures

  • Ensure timely preparation of payment proposals, assist with resolving discrepancies, and support accurate and on‑time vendor payments

  • Collaborate with the finance team to support smooth monthly and year‑end close activities, including assisting with training new team members as needed

General Ledger

  • Support general ledger activities by reconciling control accounts and researching RNI/INR items

  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and obtain required documentation

  • Ensure monthly alignment of financial records by reconciling systems, posting journal entries, and maintaining accurate accounting data within ERP systems

  • Prepare standard and ad hoc reports and provide high‑quality support to internal and external stakeholders

Who We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in accounts receivable, collections, accounts payable, or a related finance role preferred

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

  • Professional communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with customers and internal stakeholders

  • Comfortable working with financial systems and applying basic accounting principles

You’ll Also Need

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Excel and SharePoint

  • Experience or exposure to ERP systems

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills across cross‑functional and multi‑site teams

  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage competing priorities effectively
