About the job
The Material Planner is responsible for the timely arrangement of finished goods from our sister companies in Europe, raw and auxiliary materials to produce the optimal supply. Manages and controls inventory to ensure optimal stock levels of purchased and produced items to make available when required and without exceeding practical and financial limits or delaying customer orders.
Your role
- Monitoring the customers' demands for the different items
- Planning of finished goods, raw and auxiliary materials
- Placing purchase orders with suppliers, call off finished goods, raw materials and auxiliary materials at suppliers considering contract agreements and lead times to ensure timely delivery
- Manage stocks of finished goods, raw and auxiliary materials to ensure the availability of minimum stock and execution of FIFO principles
- Maintain Material planning master data, parameters and systems/software
- Participates in various projects to improve our End-2-End planning reliability and planning processes
Qualification and Experience
- English (at least B1) and Czech. Any other languages are a plus
- High school diploma. At least 3-5 years of work experience in a comparable, relevant position.
- Experience with supply chain principles (e.g. IBP, forecasting and sales & operations planning)
- Experience working cross-functionally with other departments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and material management systems
- Communication and negotiation skills, able to maintain a constructive, trusted relationship with your stakeholders
- Understanding of manufacturing challenges
- Able to demonstrate strong numerical capability with a passion for detailed analysis
