Why join us

Get ready to Own your career as a Maintenance Supervisor at Trouw Nutrition, a Nutreco company. Join us in this impactful role and help deliver the production of feed, in a sustainable way to a growing population. Own your direction, Own your development and Own your path.

What you’ll do

You will take ownership of the day-to-day maintenance operation, working hands on with your team to keep equipment, tools, and systems running safely, reliably, and in full compliance with cGMPs and Global Quality Standards. You’ll lead scheduling, performance, development, and workflow oversight, auditing work to ensure quality and driving a culture of safety where hazards are identified and addressed early. As the primary escalation point for emergency maintenance, you’ll act decisively to minimize downtime and protect people and production. You’ll collaborate closely with Plant, Production, Supply Chain, and Supervisory partners to keep operations efficient and aligned—bringing curiosity, accountability, and a commitment to continuous improvement that reflects Nutreco’s Own It mindset.

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for a skilled maintenance leader with a minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience and someone who brings deep hands on knowledge of pumps, valves, piping, hydraulics, and both mechanical and electrical systems. You’re comfortable interpreting blueprints, self-motivated, safety-driven, and committed to high-quality work. You take accountability seriously, uphold rigorous standards, and model the proactive, problem-solving mindset that helps your team succeed. If you thrive in a fast-paced production environment, communicate clearly across functions, and embody Nutreco’s Own It approach through responsibility, curiosity, and integrity, you’ll excel in this role.

You’ll also need:

  • Strong technical expertise in industrial maintenance, including pumps, valves, piping, hydraulics, and mechanical/electrical systems, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints.

  • Leadership and supervisory experience, including managing schedules, performance, development, and daily maintenance operations in a fast-paced production environment.

  • Safety-first, quality-driven mindset, ensuring compliance with cGMPs, Global Quality Standards, and safety regulations while proactively identifying hazards and maintaining high work standards.

What you’ll receive

As part of Nutreco, you’ll be a member of the SHV family, a diverse group of companies with global footprint. Join us and you’ll gain access to a wide network of expertise and global career paths. You’ll also benefit from the backing of one of the world’s largest privately owned businesses, known for its stability and long-term focus.

In addition, you’ll receive

  • Competitive health benefits – Medical/Dental/Vision/HSA/FSA

  • Disability and Life insurance

  • 401k/IRA - Matching Programs

  • Paid Parental Leave and Tuition Reimbursement
