What you'll do
Act as the technical leader of Aquaculture in China. Provide strategic and practical guidance in the operation of formulation, R&D, and technical work management for Skretting China.

I. Technical Management

• Develop, drive, and implement the Nutreco China strategies in the technical/formulation context
• Lead, develop, and optimize formulation solutions with internal and external resources to ensure Skretting China's competitive advantage in the formulation area
• Collaborate with global, regional, and local teams to successfully transfer global know-how to local expertise and product in technical areas
• Align with global development needs, complete the relevant technical tasks, and promote technical innovation
• Make the annual planning and resource budget, and control the formulation of the company in accordance with corporate standards
• Set the technical standard, quality standard, and portfolio for products, complying with the feed regulations and the relevant government laws
• Ensure the qualified raw materials and output of production are in line with the formulation design

II. R&D

• Actively develop with your team and the Global Marketing portfolio managers in R&D/innovation portfolio
• Act as a delegated sponsor in R&D studies and comply with the rules and guidelines of the Stage-Gate process
• Be accountable for the R&D activities in the innovation portfolio and for the budget, planning, and quality of the output
• Assure appropriate resources for the projects and keep track of the progress, and be responsible for the in- and external progress reporting
• Establish and maintain good relationships regarding techniques with government administration and the third-party R&D academy & institutes

III. Business Support

• Investigate new market demand, new formulation, and raw materials, and customize feed and feeding technologies to fit the business opportunities
• Support the sales team's need for technical information, provide technical training and guidance to both the sales team and customers, and enhance the sales team's understanding of the technology and strengthen their confidence

 
Who we're looking for
We're looking for a strategic leader who is accountable, collaborative, and ready to Own this role. You should have deep expertise in aquaculture nutrition, strong technical leadership, and the ability to translate global innovation into local impact. 
You'll also need

• Master's or PhD in Aquaculture, Animal Science, or related field 
• Proven experience in technical management, formulation, and R&D within aquaculture or animal nutrition 
• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Fluency in English and Chinese, with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
