Site Caretaker

Job Description

Safety:

  • Adhering to the company’s safety policies to create a safe working environment for everyone
  • Full use of the Incident management system

Office support:

o Carries out office / building support activities such as office maintenance, post-room activities etc.

o Assists with internal moves, moving desks and other office furniture and other material around

Maintenance & cleaning:

o Carries out maintenance and repair services, to the building and various items like office furniture, in offices and meeting rooms and to equipment;

activities may include painting, repairing damages, etc.

o Performs building preventive maintenance tasks (not plant) in order to avoid or reduce breakdowns (by regularly checking and cleaning materials or equipment).

o Monitors cleaning materials, tools, and furniture and reordering as required.

o Completed Audits as required

o Gardening and performing landscaping duties including mowing and operation of street sweeper

o Carry out common area cleaning

o Maintain all roads, paths, grounds and gardens to a high standard

o Complete cleaning inspections .

Other duties:

o Works according to established procedures, manuals and checklists, and maintains these in order to keep them up-to-date

o Regularly reviews practices and procedures and makes recommendations for improvements

o May perform other duties and activities, as directed.
