In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our site logistics operations, working closely with drivers, internal teams, and the Gatehouse function. You’ll help manage vehicle flow, documentation, and compliance, contributing directly to safe and efficient operations.

This is a hands-on, site-based role offering the opportunity to build your experience in logistics administration within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

What you’ll do

Support logistics operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant site activities:

  • Manage inbound and outbound vehicle movements, ensuring safe and efficient site traffic flow

  • Operate Gatehouse and weighbridge activities, supporting daily site logistics operations

  • Liaise with drivers and logistics partners to ensure compliance with site safety and PPE requirements

  • Support transport and logistics activities, including driver instructions and coordination on site

  • Prepare and manage delivery documentation and ensure accurate record-keeping

  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation to support compliance and traceability

  • Work closely with transport and site teams to ensure smooth coordination of loading and unloading activities

  • Support general administrative tasks within the logistics function

Who we’re looking for

  • Experience in logistics administration, transport, gatehouse, or similar operational roles is a plus

  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Confident communication skills when interacting with drivers, customers, and internal teams

  • Key soft skills include organisation, reliability, the ability to prioritise tasks, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset

  • Flexible and willing to support the team during busy periods or provide cover when needed

  • Interest in developing within logistics or operations is an advantage

Location & Details

  • Location: Ashbourne, UK

  • Work model: On-site

  • Contract: Permanent, full-time

What you’ll receive

  • 25 days of holiday per calendar year based on full-time working hours, plus 8 UK bank holidays
