What you’ll do
 

• Purchasing Support: Process purchase orders and support timely, accurate delivery of goods and materials. Create and manage contract purchase orders based on buyer bookings and purchasing requirements. Review and process daily formulation requests, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal processes.

• Data, Documentation, and Records: Receive, organize, and summarize purchasing documents and information to support accurate tracking and follow-up. Enter and process data in business systems in accordance with work instructions and internal standards. Support invoice processing, expense statement review, and reconciliation of purchasing-related financial documents.

• Communication and Coordination: Exchange information with suppliers, customers, and employees outside the immediate team to support purchasing and administrative workflows.

• Administrative Support: Provide administrative support for contract maintenance, invoice reconciliation, supplier setup, and new item creation.

• Maintain accurate records, processed data, and supporting documentation for purchasing activities.

• The Purchasing Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the purchasing/procurement team, with a focus on accurate data entry, document processing, record maintenance, and coordination of purchasing-related activities.

• This role works closely with procurement, production, customer service, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to support order processing, invoicing, supplier setup, contract maintenance, and new item creation.

Who we’re looking for
 

• 1–2+ years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing or agribusiness environment

• Experience using ERP systems, preferably SAP, with strong overall computer skills

You’ll also need

• Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and build effective working relationships

• Collaborative team player with strong problem-solving skills
