What you'll do

As the HSE Coordinator, you will support and drive Health, Safety, and Environmental initiatives across all Hi-Pro Feeds USA locations. Reporting to the US HSE Manager, you will partner with Operations, Maintenance, Warehouse, Quality, Sales, Procurement, Finance, and site leadership teams to promote a proactive safety culture and deliver practical safety solutions. You'll own continuous improvement efforts by supporting HSE management systems, conducting risk assessments, leading inspections and audits, coordinating employee training, supporting incident investigations, monitoring regulatory compliance, and tracking HSE performance metrics. This is a highly visible role where you'll have the opportunity to make your impact and own your direction by helping every employee return home safely each day.

We're looking for a collaborative and hands-on safety professional who thrives in manufacturing and operational environments. You enjoy building trusted relationships with employees and leaders, identifying risks, solving problems, and implementing meaningful improvements. You bring strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to influence stakeholders through credibility and partnership. You'll also need

  • College diploma or bachelor's degree in Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Agricultural Science, Animal Science, Industrial Operations, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered
  • Experience supporting HSE programs within manufacturing, industrial, agricultural, feed milling, or production environments
  • Strong understanding of safety management principles and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
    Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to analyze information and develop practical solutions
  • Willingness to travel regularly (approximately 15–25%) to support all Hi-Pro Feeds USA locations including Friona, Comanche, Clovis, and Cheyenne
  • Strong computer proficiency including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and reporting tools
  • Experience delivering safety training and engaging employees at all levels of the organization

Preferred Qualifications

  • OSHA 10-Hour Certification
  • OSHA 30-Hour Certification
  • Experience conducting incident investigations and root cause analysis
  • Experience auditing HSE programs and management systems
