This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic manufacturing environment where you'll combine analytical thinking with practical decision-making, gain exposure across the wider supply chain, and make a direct impact on operational performance and customer service.

What You'll Do

  • Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring materials are delivered on time and in line with production requirements.

  • Monitor inventory levels, supplier performance, and changing demand patterns to maintain continuity of supply and minimize risk.

  • Work closely with Production Planning, Customer Service, Procurement, and suppliers to coordinate material availability and resolve potential issues before they impact operations.

  • Analyse planning data and ERP information to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Manage supply disruptions, shortages, and stock-related challenges, balancing business priorities while maintaining customer service levels.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is responsible, adaptable, and ready to Own this role. This position would suit a naturally analytical problem-solver who enjoys working with numbers, can stay calm under pressure, and is comfortable operating in an environment where priorities can change quickly.

You'll also bring:

  • Experience working with ERP systems and Excel skills.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

  • A proactive mindset, logical approach to problem-solving, and willingness to continuously learn and improve.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in Material Planning, Supply Planning, Production Planning, Procurement, or another supply chain-related discipline.

  • Manufacturing environment experience.

  • Knowledge of MRP processes and Lean Manufacturing principles.

What You'll Receive

As part of Trouw Nutrition, you'll join the wider SHV family, a global organisation known for its long-term vision, stability, and commitment to developing its people.

You'll also receive:

  • Pension Scheme

  • Healthcare Benefits

  • 25 days' annual leave plus 8 public/bank holidays.

  • Cycle to Work Scheme, allowing you to purchase bicycles and equipment through a tax-efficient salary sacrifice arrangement.
