Why Join Us

Get ready to own commercial growth as a Dealer Sales Manager, West Region at Trouw Nutrition, a Nutreco company. As global leaders in animal nutrition and aquafeed, our shared purpose of Feeding the Future is making a positive global impact for generations to come.

In this leadership role, you'll drive the sales strategy for Western Canada, lead and develop a high-performing sales team, strengthen dealer and customer partnerships, and identify new opportunities to grow market share. As a member of the leadership team, you'll play a key role in shaping commercial direction and delivering sustainable business growth while helping farmers and producers succeed.

What You'll Do

As Dealer Sales Manager, West Region, you will develop and execute sales strategies aligned with business objectives, establish annual sales plans and targets, and provide leadership to a regional sales team. You'll build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, support business development initiatives, monitor market trends, and ensure the achievement of sales and profitability goals. You'll also contribute to operational improvement initiatives, manage departmental budgets, and coach team members to maximize performance and professional growth.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for a commercially driven sales leader who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to customer engagement. You have experience leading successful sales teams, developing growth strategies, and building strong customer relationships within the agricultural, feed, livestock, or animal nutrition sectors. You're a collaborative leader who inspires others, adapts quickly to changing market conditions, and can translate business objectives into actionable plans that deliver results.

You'll Also Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Agriculture, Animal Science, or a related field
  • 5-8+ years of progressive sales leadership experience
  • Experience managing dealer networks, territories, or key customer accounts
  • Strong coaching, leadership, and team development skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management abilities
  • Strategic planning and budget management experience
  • Ability to travel regularly throughout Western Canada
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work within Canada

What You'll Receive

As part of Nutreco, you'll be a member of the SHV family, a diverse group of companies with a global footprint. Join us and you'll gain access to a wide network of expertise and global career paths. You'll also benefit from the backing of one of the world's largest privately owned businesses, known for its stability and long-term focus.

In addition, you'll receive:

  • Robust pension plan with employer matching that begins on Day 1
  • Competitive health benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, and HSA coverage starting on Day 1
  • Short-term and long-term disability coverage and a mental health spending allowance
  • Maternal top-up and tuition reimbursement
  • 15 vacation days to start (tiered based on service)
