What you’ll do

• Lead daily lab operations and ensure the delivery of fast, accurate analytical results

• Coach, develop, and empower lab technicians while building a strong, collaborative team culture

• Solve challenges with analysts and department leads, shaping continuous improvement across the lab

• Optimize outsourcing decisions to balance quality, turnaround time, and cost

• Uphold regulatory standards (GLP, ISO) through consistent SOP implementation

• Monitor KPIs, manage escalations, and translate feedback into improvement initiatives

• Innovate: from refining workflows and technologies to developing and validating new analytical methods

• Plan and allocate resources effectively to meet workload fluctuations.

What you’ll bring

• BSc or MSc in life sciences, analytical/biological chemistry, or related field

• 5+ years in operational laboratory work, including 2+ years in a leadership role

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

• Hands‑on experience with analytical techniques such as Chromatography and ICP

• Fluent in Dutch and English

• Systematic, accurate, and highly collaborative working style

• Comfortable using digital tools and learning new systems

• Proactive, self‑driven, and results‑oriented
