Job Description

Why join us

Own your responsibility at Nutreco, an SHV company. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our digital workplace, directly supporting end users and shaping their day-to-day experience with technology. Join us as an IT Workplace Support Engineer and Own your impact, Own your service and Own your results.

The IT Workplace Services team ensures a seamless digital working environment across Nutreco. Acting as the link between users and IT, the team supports daily operations while improving workplace solutions. You’ll work in an international environment, collaborating with global (IT) colleagues and external service providers that have a direct impact on the  user's experience.

What you’ll do

  • Provide hands-on IT support to end users (primarily in Boxmeer and occasionally other sites), ensuring a high-quality user experience

  • Act as a back-up for local site support (e.g. Amersfoort), stepping in independently when needed

  • Handle and resolve incidents and service requests via ServiceNow, including troubleshooting hardware, software and workplace tools

  • Support workplace services improvements, testing and implementation of new solutions within the endpoint environment

  • Collaborate with global IT teams and external partners (e.g. service providers), supporting ticket resolution and continuous improvement

  • Support local IT tasks (e.g. basic network/device checks, on-site troubleshooting) and occasionally contribute to projects or migrations

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who is service-minded, hands-on and genuinely enjoys helping users. You take ownership, stay calm under pressure and ensure users feel supported.

You’ll also bring:

  • Solid foundational knowledge of Microsoft environments (Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Entra ID / Active Directory)

  • Initial experience or strong interest in IT support / workplace services

  • A customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills

  • Pro-active attitude and mindset improving the user experience

  • Willingness to work on-site (Boxmeer 2–3 days per week) and travel occasionally to other locations

  • Interest in learning and developing within our Global IT Services organisation

Nice to have:

  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools

  • Exposure to endpoint management tools (e.g. Intune, Ivanti)

  • Dutch language skills or willingness to learn

What you’ll receive

As part of Nutreco, you’ll join a global organisation with the stability of SHV and a strong focus on long-term development.

You can expect:

  • A supportive team environment with experienced colleagues

  • Opportunities to learn and grow within IT (including project exposure)

  • 30 vacation days

  • Career development possibilities within Nutreco’s and SHV
