Objectives
- Plan, drive and organize the technical services to customers in coordination with Sales Director, Area Sales Managers and Technical Specialties and Fish Manager.
- Drive fish technical excellence by delivering innovative solutions that add value and connect to the customer needs.
- Develop and implement the technical positioning of new products based on sound scientific evidence to the needs of regional markets.Assist the Marketing department in any technical communication related to farming practices and associated information.
- Support in organizing and following-up in-farms trials.
Main Tasks
- To be a key fish technical expert providing technical solutions and consultancy in fish farm management regarding fish nutrition, feed management, water management and diseases control and related solutions according to specific customer needs (coordinate with Fish commercial Director and Area Sales Manager and Technical Fish Director)
- To provide professional support to commercial team and its key account customers by exchanging information, to visit key customers where necessary and resolve critical technical issues when needed.
- To develop localized or customized package solutions and concept in combination of feed, aqua Specialities products, services, tools, and knowledge to build up Skretting expertise in the market the same time to expand business.
- Educate farmers and end users on the benefits, correct usage and how to measure product performance.
- Develop and manage Skretting fish technical academy to train the commercial teams (i.e. sales and marketing, technical) across the organization.
- Train commercial staff to best adapted farming practices and keep our human resources up to date last zoo technical and farming practices.
- Work closely with business partners/distributors to develops strong and professional relationship and create market demand with accountability for the overall business development & profitability.
- Run commercial trials and collect data to interpret the performance of Skretting feed and products.
- Develop and implement technical tools and methodology to collect, analyze, track and prove products performance.
- Conduct when necessary technical presentations to various stakeholders including customers, employees and public/industry forums.
- Lead and manage training programs for customers in the region.
- Keep abreast of the latest trend and development of technical knowledge on aquaculture production.
- Educate farmers and end users on the benefits, correct usage and how to measure product performance.
- Write (entirely and/or partly) articles/information of interest either for internal purposes or for public disclose. Those expected articles/information are related to your area of expertise.
Requirements
- A degree or higher in Aquaculture or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of farming techniques expertise (specially in fish is a must).
- Demonstrates a strong knowledge and understanding of fish techniques and practices with technical skills (farms management/auditing and reporting).
- Previous similar experience in fish feed/fish technical services in Vietnam is necessary.
- Fish feed Market Knowledge
- Product skills (For feed and Aqua Specialties: Features I benefits usage etc. ...).
- Knows key stakeholders in the marketplace (distribution, customer, KOL)
- Selling Techniques (PSS or equivalent is a plus) Selling coaching techniques (PSS or equivalent is a plus).
- Ability to work and lead cross functional team (commercial, technical, marketing) in various projects.
- Have a good Time and Planning Management
- Ensures that customers are satisfied in any technical inquiries, incidents and/or issues are solved in a timely manner.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to act and Analyse challenges from customers and colleagues.
- Independent working skill and strong learning agility.
- Build relations with key stakeholders, influencers and decision makers.
- Understands market drivers and business dynamics (trends, evolution etc...)
- Can communicate effectively on product
- Presentation and IT skills
- Minimum Microsoft office skills (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Flexibility and willingness to travel.
- Good public speaking skills
- Proactive, reliable and can do attitude.
- Customer focus
- Good communication in Vietnamese and English
